Teknologi Tenaga Perlis Consortium Sdn Bhd (TTPC) was incorporated on 11th July 1996. The Company was granted a license by the Ministry of Energy, Telecommunications and Multimedia to build, own and operate a Power Plant with a nominal capacity of 650MW to supply generated electricity to Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

TTPC achieved its Commercial Operation Date as of midnight, 31st March 2003. TTPC Perlis Power Plant is built on a total area of approximately 37.5 hectares and is located at the coastal site of Kuala Sungai Bharu in Mukim Kayang, south of Kuala Perlis.
