ECS Malaysia was incorporated in 1993 as an investment holding company with paid-up capital of RM1,000,000. The company purchased two blocks of five storey office building in Kelana Jaya and moved into the new building in November 1994.

It has three subsidiary companies, i.e. ECS KU SDN BHD, ECS PERICOMP SDN BHD, and ECS ASTAR SDN BHD in the computer business. The group achieved a total sales turnover of RM219 million in 2001.

ECS KUSH SDN BHD was established in 1985 to provide computer systems, hardware, software and services to business customers. ECS PERICOMP SDN BHD started operations in 1986 to distribute PCs and peripherals to computer dealers throughout Malaysia. ECS ASTAR SDN BHD was started in 1995 to market mainly Hewlett-Packard PC products to dealers. The main product line in the group are : Hewlett-Packard, IBM, CANON, Printronix, Lexmark, Sun Microsystems, Intel, Cisco, and Lotus.

Solutions

ECS Malaysia is an existing Microsoft Business Solution – Microsoft Dynamics Ax user. They are also having the e-Service Management System by Prorsus to fully integrate with Microsoft Dynamics Ax. ECS Malaysia is using Microsoft Dynamics Ax Financials, Trade, and Logistics modules.
